It's December, the year is almost over, and winter came in this weekend full bore.  Hopefully the crab boats will be going back out again soon.  The local real estate market remains in limbo, with uncertainty as to what the future will bring rampant.  Good news is that interest rates are still low, and may get even lower soon, so if you're a well qualified Buyer, there are some reasonable deals to be made.  Bad news is that like the rest of the country, foreclosure rates continue to increase locally, with many homeowners faced with debt loads way beyond the value of their homes and their ability to pay.  If this trend continues, the negative financial affects will be felt for a long time.  Hope your holiday season is peaceful, remember what is important.
